Everyone loves a great Christmas fair. Usually we associate the Christmas fair with mull wine to warm the hands and heart, whilst rugged up with big boots and and warm gloves to combat the snow.
Unless you’re in Zadar, it’s a Christmas fair of a new dimension.
After a two year break, the Zadar Christmas fair returns to it’s full element. Heartwarming music, local sweets and pastries; or local cuisine tailored for the best of what winter has to offer.
The Zadar Christmas fair is situated on the Zadar peninsula, or old town. Main proceedings take place around the Church to St Simeon to the 5 wells (5 bunari).
However throughout the old town you will find it decorated with Christmas lights; sweet and savory stands serving you the local delicacies like ‘fritule’ to the best of modern street food.
For the young at heart, why not go ice skating? Not too far from the old town you’ll find the sports center Višnjik. The outside area of the sports center is a giant ‘fun park’, packed with fun and adrenalin to keep you smiling all night long.
With daily temperatures ranging from 12-16 degree’s, Zadar brings a new dimension to advent. Experience how the Christmas fair lights bring to life the centuries old coble stone streets; with a festive vibe resonating from street stands to streets stand, greeting all the passes by with Zadar’s charming Christmas spirit!
