O’live Residence is situated in the middle of the Zadar County, giving you access to some of the nicest beaches, island and coves in Croatia.
For those in search of hidden beaches; or wish to feel the sand beneath their feet; or are in search of a beach bar for lunch; Zadar has it all.
Below you’ll find a top 10 list of beach that are either a stroll, bike ride or drive away:

2. Bibano Beach bar
10-15 min walk from O’live Residence. Parking also available in front of the beach. Large pebble beach, classical beach bar with affordable cocktails

There are a number of public beaches with shade and amenities close by. Great for families, bit can be at times a little crowded (depending on the season).
3. Punta Rožica
Bibinje’s main beach. Cafe bars and restaurants are nearby, as well as parking. Great beach to watch the sunset.

4. Lipauska beach
Slightly further away, Lipauska has over 2km of beach front. Street parking available, first come first served. You will find a few cafe bars nearby, however limited when it comes to food.

Sand Beaches & off the beaten track
If you’re after a sandy beach, then there a couple we would recommend visiting Nin.
Civilisation dates back 3.000 years to the town of Nin. It’s where the Croatian kings were crowned (the church still remains, and can be visited), and it has 2 of the nice sandy beaches.

Off the Beaten Track
Head down the Jadranska Magistral, just 10 mins drive from O’live Residence and you’ll come across some uncharted coast line. Park amongst the trees , and find your spot on the shore line.
It’s not an official beach, swimming is permitted.

The island of Ugljan
Take a day trip to the island of Ugljan, opposite O’live Residence. Ugljan is easy to get to as there is a ferry every 30mins. Take a car, bike or moped. On the island, time has stopped somewhat, the beaches are accessible and the island is very green.
